About the Artist
Bryn Gillette is an artistic ambassador of Jesus who stewards his gifts to make the Kingdom of God visible. He lives with his wife and four children in Charlotte, NC where he teaches art and art history at Charlotte Christian School and maintains a studio art practice of painting, writing, and speaking. Bryn’s undergraduate was at Gordon College and he holds an MFA in painting from Western CT State University. He is regularly invited to paint and speak during live events to capture the real time expressions of the Holy Spirit as a “visual scribe”, and his studio commissions are in private and corporate collections around the world. As the co-founder of TeamOne:27, a ministry supporting orphans in Haiti, Bryn prophetically envisions the restoration of broken nations through his artwork. Since 2014, Bryn has also served as artist-in-residence for the Lausanne Movement, founded in 1974 by Billy Graham and John Stott, as the movement’s mission to see the "whole church to bring the whole gospel to the whole world" aligns beautifully with Bryn’s role as an artistic ambassador of God’s Kingdom.

2019- Present. “Artist in Residence” for the YMCA Camp Harrison (summer week 7 & Christmas Camp)

2014- Present. “Artist in Residence” for the Lausanne Movement- founded by Billy Graham & John Stott 1974.
2010-2017. Full time teacher of art, Bible, digital media, and photography at Trinity-Pawling School, NY to grades 7-12.
2008 - Present. Co-founder of TeamOne27.org, board member, and artistic ambassador to Haiti.

2015-2017 Four separate events at "The Net" service at Providence United Methodist Church in Charlotte, N.C. : including live paintings 2015, 2016, & 2017, a presentation of the original "Beyond The Ruins" painting series 2015, and a congregational participation collaboration with Ben Woodward's workshop in 2016.
2014-2017 Summers. Bryn designed and hosted a week long “Art Camp” for grades 4-12 in partnership with Walnut Hill Community Church integrating artistic skills and spirit-sensitive creativity.
